It was a tale of two teams for last night's loss to the Angels.
Some players were willing to do what they always do - everything to win a game (Posada, A-Rod, Jeter, Philips ,and Hughes).
Then you have a pair (Cano and Cabrera) of teammates that lack focus and discipline on a particular night that seem to cost the team at every turn. Poor fielding, poor base running, poor at bats.
You may be able to get away with sloppy play against the rest of the league, but not a team managed by Mike Scioscia.
Yanks drop a game in both standings. 5 Back of the Sox, 1.5 back of Seattle.

its starting to look like April and May all over again.
Great analysis, Mid. Cano and Cabrera were asleep all night long.
Heinz, are you chirping again? Go back to your triple A league and leave the big boys alone to play.
Let the Moose bashing begin!
Holy Cow - does Moose suck or what??
As everyone knows, I was against brining him back, and every other start he seems to put forth the evidence as to why.
If he comes back next season you know its only for the money - he doesn't appear to have the stuff any longer.

Although, it was just Moose who sucked. With the exception of Vizcaino, all pitchers got lit up... Moose just seems to be stinking it up on a more frequent basis. - His numbers on the season aren't any better than Chase Wright, Matt DeSalvo, or Tyler Clippard. Why not let Moose sit out a start and give Kennedy a shot or bring one of those clowns up.

Cairo signed by the Cards
Mike Myers signed by the White Sox
Good, i'm glad Cairo and Meyers landed on their feet. They were good soldiers.
Can anyone say Castillo?
